Spring Sheep Card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are creating with a colour challenge. I have made an adorable card using the Woolly Friends stamp set and co-ordinating Builder Punch.

 

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the Spring sheep card using the following supplies:

Pretty In Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Misty Moonlight card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

 

I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink in the lower right corner of the smaller panel of Basic White card.

I used the ‘ground’ image from the Blessed Beginnings stamp set was stamped in a line about an inch from the bottom of the same panel with the same Misty Moonlight ink. The whole panel was glued to the Misty Moonlight layer and then to the Pretty In Pink card front.

The outline sheep bodies were stamped on scrap Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the heads of the sheep on the same scrap with the same ink. I punched these out using the Woolly Friends Builder Punch.

I added the colour to the bodies of the sheep using the following colours – Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Pretty In Pink. I debated whether to use full strength or 2nd generation ink and decided on full strength. The bodies were added to the panel with either Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive or on Dimensionals.

Country Greenery Card

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we have a colour combo to work with. I have used the Greenery Lane stamp set and dies to make my card.

I created the country greenery card using the following supplies:

Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Calypso Coral card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”

Country Woods dsp – 5¼” by 1¼”

Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

I stamped the large leafy spray from the Greenery Lane stamp set onto the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card in 1st and 2nd generation Pool Party ink.

I glued the strip of Calypso Coral card to the piece of Country Woods dsp and then to the stamped panel. The whole piece was layered onto the Calypso Coral panel and then to the Pretty Peacock card front.

I stamped the outline of the smaller leafy spray with Pretty Peacock ink onto scrap Basic White card. The infill stamp was used to add 2nd generation Pretty Peacock ink to the leafy spray. I die cut the leaves using the Greenery Lane Dies. These were then glued to the stamped panel

I die cut a decorated circle using the Spotlight on Nature Dies from the square of Basic White card. The sentiment, from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink. I added this to the card front on Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge to inspire us. I have made my card using the adorable Pop-up Petals stamp set and dies.

To recreate the crafty vases card, you will need:

Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at on the long side at 4⅛”
Azure Afternoon card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Calypso Coral card – 5” by ⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

 

I glued the strip of Calypso Coral card diagonally across the Poppy Parade card front and trimmed of the excess.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the tall vase with Pretty Peacock ink and the spotted bowl with Azure Afternoon ink. The rose and daisies were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card.

The daisy petals were stamped in Calypso Coral ink; the flower centre s were then added with 2nd generation Pretty Peacock ink. The leaves were coloured with a Light Pretty Peacock Blends Pen. The rose flower was stamped with Poppy Parade ink and the leaves with 2nd generation Pretty Peacock ink. All these images were then die cut using the Pop-up Petals Dies.

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a Colour Challenge. I love a colour challenge and always try to use all the colour options. Today’s card is made using the Petals of Beauty stamp set.

Colours used to make today’s card are:

 

To recreate the beautiful petals card, you will need:

Blackberry Bliss card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Crushed Curry card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 3 ¼” by 1”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

I stamped the outline large flower image, three times with Crushed Curry ink and added the infill using the solid flower image and 2nd generation Crushed Curry ink.

Three smaller flowers were added with Cherry Cobbler ink, full strength for the outline and 2nd generation for the infill. The flower centres were then added with Night of Navy ink.

To recreate the tree of flowers card, you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Balmy Blue card -4¼” by 2⅝”
Pretty In Pink card – 4⅛” by 2½”
Summer Splash card – 4” by 2⅜”
Basic Beige card – 3⅞” by 2¼”

 

Using Basic Beige ink I stamped a border along the right-side of the Basic Beige card base using the tree of starts image.

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Secret Sea card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Beautiful Bokeh dsp – 5¼” by 2”
Beautiful Bokeh dsp – 4½” by 2¼”
Beautiful Bokeh dsp – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 3” by ¾”

 

The two larger panels of Beautiful Bokeh were glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” layer of Basic White card.

Floral Bauble Card – Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are working with a colour challenge to create Christmas cards. I have used the new Bauble Blooms stamp set and dies to make my card.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate the floral bauble card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Secret Sea card – 5½” by 3¾”
Cloud Cover card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Cloud Cover & Secret Sea

 

Using the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder I embossed the left-hand side of the Cloud Cover panel and adhered it to the Secret Sea Panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

The detailed floral image from the Bauble Blooms stamp set was stamped on the square of Basic White card in Secret Sea ink. The infill flower image was then stamped in Strawberry Slush ink. The leaves were added with Summer Splash ink. I die cut the bauble using the Bauble Blooms Dies.

From scrap Cloud Cover card, I die cut the bauble top and added it to the top of the die cut bauble. I cut a thin sliver of Secret Sea card and adhered it to the card front. The bauble was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The bow was stamped in Darling Duckling ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut it out. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Secret Sea card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I trimmed out the words and added them to the card front.

Darling Duckling flat pearls were added to the floor centres and a trio of Cloud Cover flat pearls were added to finish the card.

A pretty Christmas card made for the Christmas Stampathon colour theme challenge using the Encircled in Nature stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up!

Encircled Christmas cards – Christmas Stampathon

Today I am sharing the cards made for the March 2025 Christmas Stampathon where we have a colour challenge to inspire us. I have used the Encircled in Nature stamp set, which is currently on our last chance list, to make my cards.

Colours used in these cards are:

 

To recreate the encircled cards, you will need:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” x 4
Night of Navy card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 4
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” x 4
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”- for the inside x 4
Scrap Basic White card

 

Using Night of Navy ink, I stamped the wreath from the Encircled in Nature stamp set onto the 5¼” by 3½” panels of Basic White card. The leafy sprigs were stamped at the bottom of the wreath using the same ink.

Fresh Freesia was added to the centre of each wreath using a Blending Brush. The decorated panel was then glued to the Night of Navy panels and then to the Fresh Freesia card fronts.

The pair of flowers were stamped on scrap Basic White card with Versamark ink. I covered the images with Silver Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.

The flowers and leaves were coloured using Fresh Freesia and Night of Navy Blends Pens. They were then die cut using the Encircled in Nature Dies and added them to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Humble House stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy ink inside the wreath. I also added a trio of dotty images from the Thankful Garden stamp set around the die cut pieces in Night of Navy ink.

Friends For Life card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a picture and/or a colour combo. I decided to keep my card clean and simple and used the Friends For Life Dies to create my project.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the friends for life card, you will need:

Blackberry Bliss card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry & Garden Green

 

Using the Friends For Life Dies I die cut the strips of colour from scraps of Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry & Garden Green card.

These were glued to the 5” by 3¼” panel of basic White card which was then mounted onto the Blackberry Bliss card front on Dimensionals.
