Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a sketch. I have made my card using the gorgeous new Festive Friends stamp set.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate the festive Santa card, you will need:

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Country Lace dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Secret Sea card – 3⅝” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 3⅜” by 2⅜”
Poppy Parade card – 5⅜” by ¾”
Balmy Blue card – 4⅝” by ¾”

 

The piece of Country Lace dsp was adhered to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card. This was then glued to the Smoky Slate card base.

I flagged the end of the Poppy Parade and Balmy Blue strips of card and glued them to the left side of the card front.

The Santa was stamped in Secret Sea ink onto the small piece of Basic White card. I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate and Secret Sea.

I added ‘ground’ using a light Smoky Slate Blends Pen and stamped the pretty snowflakes from the Woodland Scenery stamp set all over the panel in Balmy Blue ink. The decorated panel was then adhered, at an angle, to the Secret Sea panel. The whole piece was mounted on the card front on Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are showcasing projects made using paper strips. I have made my card using the Mediterranean Blooms and Country Lace designer series paper (dsp) with the Everyday Arches Dies.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the striped abloom card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Night of Navy card -5¼” by 4”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¾”
Mediterranean Blooms dsp – ⅜” strips of different lengths
Country Lace dsp – ⅜” strips of different lengths
Night of Navy card – 2” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White card

 

I began by applying a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the panel of Basic White card measuring 5” by 3¾”. Starting in the centre I added the strips of dsp, at an angle to the panel, butting the strips up against each other.

When the sheet was fully covered, I used the third largest die from the Everyday Arches to die cut an arch. The next size up die was used to cut an arch from the Night of Navy card. The two arches were then glued together and added to the Thick Basic White card front with glue.

From scrap Basic White card, I die cut and embossed the daisy flower using the Impressions Abloom Dies, I also die cut the leafy spray.

With Night of Navy ink, I stamped the flower centre and added shape to the flower using a Bone Folder. The flower was added to the card front on a Dimensional. I cut the leafy sprig apart and added the leaves on either side of the flower.

The sentiment, from the Loveliest Tree stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Night of Navy card, covered it with White Embossing Powder which I set with my Heat Tool. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

A cocktails themed celebration card made using the Cheers & Sips stamp set with some designer series paper, all from Stampin' Up!

Cocktails Card

I am sharing a pretty cocktails themed card today, made using the Cheers & Sips stamp set and dies.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the cocktail themed card, you will need:

Lemon Lime Twist card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Country Lace dsp – 5⅞” by 1¾”
Shaded Spruce card – 5⅞” by ½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 1¼” by ¼”
Scrap Basic White and Full of Life dsp

 

I glued the strip of Shaded Spruce to the panel of Country Lace dsp and adhered it to one of the large panels of Basic White card. The whole piece was glued to the Lemon Lime Twist card front.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the tall glass and the squat glass using Secret Sea ink. Both glasses were then die cut using the Cheers and Sips Dies.

The same glasses were stamped onto scrap pieces of Full of life dsp. I cut off about ⅛” from the top of the glass and trimmed around each glass as close to the stamped line as possible and adhered each piece to the corresponding die cut white glass. I embossed the taller glass using the embossing die from the same die.

A stitched circle was die cut from the square of Basic White card using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I placed the glasses onto the stitched circle, moved the smaller one aside and stamped the celery leaves with Shaded Spruce ink. The leaves were then coloured using Lemon Lime Twist and Shaded Spruce Blends Pens.

I added the glasses to the stitched circle on Dimensionals and glued the circle to the card front.

2 berries were stamped in Secret Sea ink, coloured with Blackberry Bliss Blends Pens before being die cut and added to the card front.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are using some of the product which is due to retire in early May. I have made an Easter card for my daughter and son in law using the adorable Playing in the Rain stamp set and the Country Lace dsp.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate playing in the rain Easter card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Country Lace dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Basic White card – 2½” by ⅝”
Scrap Country Lace dsp

 

The panel of Country Lace designer series paper was glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card. I wrapped a length of Iridescent Striped Ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Pool Party card front.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies I die cut a stitched circle from the square of Basic White card.

The adorable bunny image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut stitched circle. The same image was stamped in the same ink onto a scrap Country Lace dsp and the bunny’s waistcoat was fussy cut and then paper pieced onto the original image.

Hello and welcome to Stamping with friends Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have chosen to share a card made for my aunt and uncles 60th Anniversary a couple of days ago and have chosen my colour palette to reflect the colours of the embroidered flowers on the flower girl dresses worn by my cousin and myself. The card was made using the Memorable Blooms stamp set along with the Unbounded Beauty and Country Woods dsp.

To recreate the Memorable Blooms double Z fold card, you will need:

Base card

Pretty in Pink card base – 11” by 5½”, scored at 2¾” and 5½” on the long side. Rounded upper left and lower right corners
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 5⅜” – Rounded upper left corner
Country Woods dsp – 5¼” by 5¼” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 2⅝” x 2 – One with a rounded upper right
Unbounded Beauty dsp – 5¼” by 2½” x 2 – One with a rounded upper right

 

Inner card

Misty Moonlight card – 9¼” by 4¼” and scored it at 2¾” and 5½” on the long side.
Pretty in Pink card – 4” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper left corner
Pretty in Pink card – 4” by 2½” x 2 One with a rounded upper right

The panel of Country Woods dsp was adhered to the 5⅜” by 5⅜” panel of Basic White card and then to the Pretty in Pink card base. The two panels of Unbounded Beauty dsp were adhered to the 5⅜” by 2⅝” pieces of Basic White card and adhered them to the Pretty in Pink card base.

I die cut the number 60 using the Birthday Celebrations Dies and scrap Silver Foil card and added them to the second Basic White panel adding the th from the Birthday Celebration stamp set with Night of Navy ink. The panels were then adhered to the Misty Moonlight card base and onto the Pretty in Pink layers.

Hello and welcome to the Share it Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing a project we have recently been working on. I have chosen to share the card I made celebrate the wedding of friends using their colour scheme of peach and navy. I used the Layers of Beauty bundle to create the card.

Using my Paper Trimmer I scored at ⅛” and ¼” on all four side of one of the 4¾” by 4¾” pieces of Basic White card which was placed face down on the trimmer.

The sentiment, from the Everyday Details stamp set was stamped on the same panel in Night of Navy ink in the lower right corner. The panel was then adhered to one of the 5” by 5” layers of Country Lace dsp. The whole piece was then glued to the front of the Night of Navy card front.

The large floral image was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Pebbled Path ink. I used the stencils and Blending Brushes to add colour to the image. The large roses were coloured with Balmy Blue, the Balmy Blue and finally Misty Moonlight. The smaller flowers with Petal Pink and Calypso Coral and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive. The image was then die cut using the Layers of Beauty Dies.

Mini Dimensionals were added to the back of the die cut image and the image was placed on the card front. I lifted the floral image and stamped some ‘dottage’ – from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink to ground the flowers. The die cut piece was then placed down.

On the remaining 4¾” by 4¾” piece of Basic White card I stamped the sentiment, from the Best Family Ever stamp set in Night of Navy ink and added the small flower from the Layers of Beauty Stamp set with Pebbled Path ink. I coloured the image with Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Blends Pens and glued the panel inside.

To create a pocket to hold money/gift card the remaining Basic White panel was adhered to the inside of the card, the strip of Night of Navy card was then added along the bottom and butted up to the left-hand side using Tear ‘n Tape. Make sure the edge is well away from the central scoreline of the card. The dsp layer was then glued to the remaining Basic White piece which was then added to the card.

A White Baker’s twine bow and a scattering of Iridescent Pearls completed the card. I made an envelope to match using a 9” by 9” piece of Country Lace dsp and an Envelope Punchboard.

A pretty gingerbread themed Christmas card made using the Sweetest Star stamp set, Sweetest Star Punch and the Country Woods and Country Lace dsp from Stampin' Up!

Gingerbread Couple card

Here is an adorable card featuring a gingerbread couple made using the Sweetest Star stamp set and some non-traditionally Christmas dsp.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the gingerbread couple card, you will need:

Pecan Pie card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – one for the inside
Country Lace dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Country Woods dsp – 5⅜” by 1”
Basic White card – 4½” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White card

 

The Country Lace dsp was adhered to one of the 5½” by 3¾” panels of Basic White card.

The strip of Country Woods dsp was then added over top, and a length of White Baker’s Twine wrapped around the panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Pecan Pie card front.

Two gingerbread shapes were stamped in Early Espresso ink onto scrap Basic White card. These were punched out using the Sweetest Star Punch.

I used the following Blends to colour in the images – Light Pecan Pie and Dark Melon Mambo for the lady and Dark Pecan Pie and Dark Boho Blue for the man. These were added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the thin strip of Basic White card. I flagged the ends with Scissors and added it to the card front.

A Twine bow and a trio of Iridescent Faceted Gems completed the card.

A pretty thank you card made using the Latte Love stamp set and dies used with the Country Lace and Bright & Beautiful dsp all from Stampin' Up!

Lots of Latte Love card

Todays’ card is made using the Latte Love stamp set and dies, combined with the Bright & Beautiful and Country Lace designer series papers.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the lots of latte love card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Bright & Beautiful and Country Lace dsp – 3⅜” by ½” x 9
Scrap Basic White card

 

I glued the 3⅜” by ½” strips of dsp to the 5⅛” by 3½” panel of Basic White card leaving a small gap between each piece. The panel was then glued to the Petal Pink card front.

Using the Countryside Corner Dies, I die cut a label from the 4½” by 3” piece of Basic White card.

The ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set was stamped along the bottom of the die cut label with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The label was then glued to the card front.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped 3 mugs using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. They were coloured in using either Petal Pink. Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock Blends Pens. The coloured mugs were then added to the card front.
