Baby Girl Card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been working on. I am sharing a card made for a friend with a new baby granddaughter using the Cutest Onsie stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the baby girl card using the following supplies:

Strawberry Slush card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic Gray – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Barely Blush – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 2 ½” by ¼”
Scrap Mixed Up Patterns dsp

Using the Damask Designs Embossing Folder I embossed the panel of Barely Blush card and adhered it to the layer of Basic Gray card.

I wrapped a length of Black Baker’s Twine around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. I then glued it to the Strawberry Slush card front.

From scrap pieces of Mixed Up Patterns dsp I die cut 2 onsies and 2 coat hangers. The coat hangers were tucked into the top of the onsies before they were added to the card front. The ones on the right and the left were glued in place and the remaining onsie was added with Dimensionals in the centre.

The sentiment was stamped on the strip of Basic White card with Secret Sea ink. I flagged the ends before adding the piece to the front of the card on Dimensionals.

I stamped the onsie in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap piece of Bright & Beautiful dsp. Using sharp Scissors I fussy cut around the image, because I couldn’t find the dies! Using the dark Boho Blue Blends Pen, I coloured in the neck, leg and arm bands of the onsie and added the piece to the die cut label.
