Elegantly Regal Card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a dice roll – Sponging, standard vertical, Congrats, Bling, Regals. I have made my card using the Elegant Leaves stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the Elegantly Regal card using the following supplies:

Cherry Cobbler card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored on the long-side at 4⅛”
Garden Green – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

Using a Blending Brush, I added Crushed Curry ink to the centre of the smaller panel of Basic White card and added some ‘splatter’ by knocking the light Cherry Cobbler Blends Pen on a Bonefolder. The panel was then glued to the Garden Green layer and then to the Cherry Cobbler card front.

The heart shaped leaf was stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink, the outline in full strength and the infill with 2nd generation. The smallest leaf was then stamped with Crushed Curry in the same full strength and 2nd generation combo. The leaves were then die cut out and the two largest were arranged on the card front and glued in position.

The sentiment, from the Fragrant Layers stamped set was stamped in Highland Heather ink on scrap Basic White card. It is a much longer sentiment, so I masked off the words I didn’t need before inking up and stamping. The sentiment was then die cut using the Perennial Postage dies. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
