A pretty bobble hat themed Christmas card made using the Stay Warm stamp set and the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!

Bobble Hats Card

This card was made using the Stay Warm stamp set and Forever Plaid Embossing Folder.

Colours used to make these cards are:

To recreate the bobble hats card, you will need:

Melon Mambo card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Lemon Lolly card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Misty Moonlight 2 tone card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

The piece of 2 tone Misty Moonlight card was embossed using the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. I used a sanding block to sand down the surface of the light Misty moonlight panel to reveal the inner white core. The embossed piece was then adhered to the piece of Lemon Lolly card.

I die cut a stitched circle from the square of Basic White card using the Stylish Shapes dies. The sentiment, from the Tractor & Co stamp set was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto the die cut circle.

The bobble hat was stamped in the centre of the die cut circle with Secret Sea ink. The same image was then stamped onto a piece of Masking Paper and fussy cut out. The mask was placed over the stamped hat and the image was stamped again on either side before the mask was removed.

Floral Spotlight Card – Stamping Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inspirations Blog Hop where we are showcasing the spotlight technique. I have made my card using the Mixed Florals stamp set.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the spotlight on florals card, you will need:

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Fresh Freesia card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Secret Sea card – 1¾” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Using the large floral image, I stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Soft Sea Foam card base with Soft Sea Foam ink. I set this aside to dry.

The large floral image was then stamped onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card with Secret Sea ink. Using a 1¾” Circle Punch I punched out part of the image. The stamped panel was then adhered to the Fresh Freesia embossed panel and then to the Soft Sea Foam card front.

I coloured the punched-out part of the image using the following Blends Pens – Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Soft Sea Foam. The punched part was then repositioned into the stamped panel but raised up on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Twisted In Time stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Secret Sea card, I covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I trimmed it down and angled the end before adding it to the card front on Dimensionals.
