Vases of Flowers Card

Today’s birthday card was made using pieces left over from my June Garden Gatherings classes.

Colours used in making this card are:

I created the vases of flowers card using the following supplies:

Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Secret Sea – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Berry Burst – 5” by 3¾”
Basic White – 4½” by 3¼”
Cloud Cover – 2 ¼” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White and Vellum

I embossed one of the larger panels of Basic White using the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the piece of Secret Sea and then to the Daffodil Delight card front.

The On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the stems with Peaceful Pine, 2 of the tiny flower stems and 1 of the larger flower stems. The flowers were added to the stems with Daffodil Delight or Berry Burst ink. The flowers sprays were then die cut using the Garden Gatherings dies.

Both vases were stamped on scrap pieces of Vellum with Versamark ink before being covered with White Embossing Powder and set using a Heat Tool. The vases were then die cut.

I Used a Cloud Cover Blends Pen to colour in the bottom of the vases to give the effect of water. The flower sprays were then added to the back of the vases with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment was stamped in Peaceful Pine ink on the strip of Cloud Cover and added it to the card front. A trio of Daffodil Delight Dots from my stash finished the card.

Garden Gathering Card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are showcasing some of the product from the upcoming May – August 2026 catalogue. I have chosen to make a card using the pretty Garden Gatherings stamp set and co-ordinating dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the garden gathering card using the following supplies:

Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Pretty Peacock – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Season of Elegance dsp

Using one of the floral images I randomly stamped around all four sides of the Granny Apple Green card base with Granny Apple Green ink.

I die cut a vase using the Garden Gathering dies from a scrap piece of Season of Elegance designer series paper. I placed it in position on the smaller panel of Basic White card and lightly drew around it with a pencil. This will help me to stamp the flowers so that they will appear to be inside the vase.

I stamped two stems with Granny Apple Green ink using the pencil outline of the vase as a guide. The tiny flower clusters were then added with Poppy Parade ink.

The pencil lines were then erased and the die cut vase glued into position.  A ‘ground’ image, from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set was then stamped under the vase with Gray Granite ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Granny Apple Green ink, one word at a time using a simple masking technique. The stamped panel was then glued to the Pretty Peacock layer which was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I used a Poppy Parade Blends Pen to colour in 3 of the Moody Palette Glossy Dots and added them to complete the card.
