A sweet card featuring Japanese Bowls made using the Inspiring Imperfections and Beautiful Motifs stamp sets from Stampin' Up!

Japanese Bowl Themed Card

I am loving the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set and have used it today to make a simple Japanese bowl themed card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the Japanese bowl themed card, you will need:

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Peach Pie card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – 4⅜” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 2¼” by 1”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I stamped the floral image in 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Smoky Slate card front.

On the smallest piece of Basic White card, I randomly stamped the Japanese bowl in Misty Moonlight ink. The flowers on each bowl were then coloured using the Light Peach Pie Blends Pen.

Colour was added around each bowl using a Light Smoky Slate Blends Pen and the whole panel was then glued to the Peach Pie layer.

A piece of Misty Moonlight Ribbon was wrapped around the layer before it was glued to the 4⅜” by 2⅞” panel of Basic White card. This piece was then glued to the Smoky Slate card front.

The sentiment, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto the 2¼” by 1” piece of Basic White card. I then die cut the sentiment using the Perennial Postage Dies before adding it to the card front on Dimensionals.
