The stack, cut and shuffle technique used to make 3 Autumnal cards using the All About Autumn designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up!

Stack, Cut & Shuffles Autumnal cards for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing Autumnal projects. I am using the All About Autumn designer series paper to make 3 cards using Stack, Cut & Shuffle Technique. I saw this technique recently on YouTube in a video shared by Stamping Treasure and loved it.

Colours featured in these cards are:

To recreate the stack, cut & shuffle cards, you will need:

3 card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛ – I chose Moody Mauve, Copper Clay & Cajun Craze
Very Vanilla card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” x 3
All About Autumn dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – 3 co-ordinating pieces
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” = for the insides
Scrap Very Vanilla

I stacked the 3 panels of All About Autumn dsp one on top of the other, took them to my Paper Trimmer and cut them into 3.

The pieces of dsp were sorted, one for each card, into piles and glued them one at a time onto the 5⅝” by 3⅞” pieces of Very Vanilla card leaving a small border.

A card made for the Stamping Inkspirations Tic Tac Toe Challenge using the Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies by Stampin' Up!

Autumn Leaves card for a Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a Tic Tac Toe board. I have chosen the diagonal line featuring ribbon, leaves and yellow and chose to make an Autumn Leaves card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Autumn leaves card, you will need:

Crushed Curry card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Early Espresso card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Very Vanilla card – 5¼” by 3½”
Very Vanilla card – 2¼” by 2”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Very Vanilla card

Using Early Espresso ink, I stamped the veins from the double leaves all along the Natural Ribbon and set it aside to dry. You do need a well inked pad to get a good image.

The 5¼” by 3½” piece of Very Vanilla card was glued to the Early Espresso layer. I wrapped the ribbon around the panel and secured it on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was then mounted onto the Crushed Curry card base.

On scrap Very Vanilla card I stamped the large maple leaf in Crushed Curry ink. I added the veins using Early Espresso ink.

The oak leaf was stamped in Wild Wheat ink and the double leaves were stamped in Daffodil Delight ink and the veins added using Early Espresso ink. All the leaves were die cut using the Autumn Leaves dies

A sketch challenge for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop using the Heart & Home dsp and Soft Seedlings stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Soft Seedlings for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have been given a sketch to work with today. I have used the Heart and Home designer Series paper which is retiring at the end of this month and the Soft Seedlings stamp set which will be available from the 1st July.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the soft seedlings stamp set, you will need:

Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Heart and Home dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Heart & Home dsp – 3¼” by 2⅛”
Basic White card – 3⅝” by 2⅜”
Parakeet Party card – 2⅛” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

Using the blade of my Scissors I roughed up the edges of the largest panel of Heart & Home dsp and added Garden Green ink with a Dauber to define the edge. The lower right corner was curled using a Bone Folder and the panel was glued to the Pear Pizzazz card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
