Oh my goodness, I am loving the Oceanfront and On the Horizon stamp sets and have created a distant trees card using them both and the Horizon Dies for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the distant trees card, you will need:

Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Garden Green card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I started by placing a ¾” punched circle near the top of the smaller panel of Basic White card and stamped over it using Balmy Blue ink to create the sky. I removed the mask and added So Saffron ink to the sun with a Dauber.

The fence was die cut using the Horizon Dies and the ‘woodgrain’ image stamped over the pieces to add texture. The fence was then added to the stamped panel on Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! products made to make a prett rural scene with a pair of Wellington Boots

Wellies in a rural landscape

I have been playing with some of my favourite stamp sets and have made a pretty card featuring wellies in a rural landscape.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the wellies in a rural landscape card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

On the smaller panel of Basic White card, I stamped the ‘sky’ image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Balmy Blue ink. I added the green grass in Pear Pizzazz and the ‘ground’ in Gray Granite ink.

The trees on the skyline were stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. I used Soft Succulent ink to stamp the reeds. The panel was then added to the Balmy Blue card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Using my trimmer, I cut out the centre of the Evening Evergreen panel leaving a ½” frame which I mounted over the stamped panel with Dimensionals.
