Planted Paradise card made for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing our own choice of projects. I have chosen to share a card made using the Planted Paradise stamp set.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the planted paradise card, you will need:

Pebbled Path card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Boho Blue card – 4¾” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White card

 

Using the ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set, I stamped a base for my plant pots using Pebbled Path ink.

The larger pot was then stamped in Boho Blue ink and the smaller pot in Pebbled Path ink.

The trio of leaves were stamped on top of the smaller pot using Old Olive ink. The leaves in the Boho Blue pot were stamped in 1st and 2nd generation Granny Apple Green ink. The panel was then glued to the Boho Blue panel and mounted onto the Pebbled Path card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Throughout the Year stamp set, was stamped in Boho Blue ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White card. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front.

Earthen Textures card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a photograph and/or colour challenge. I have chosen to make a nature themed card using the Earthen Textures stamp set and all six colours.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the earthen textures card, you will need:

Blackberry Bliss card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Gray Granite card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Mossy Meadow card

 

The tall pot was stamped in Starry Sky ink and the smaller pot in Blackberry Bliss ink. These were die cut using the Earthen Textures Dies.

From scrap Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Mossy Meadow I die cut a selection of pretty leaves.

I placed all the die cut pieces onto the smaller Basic White panel and moved them around until I was happy with the arrangement. I moved the pots to one side and stamped the ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set in Gray Granite ink.

The twiggy sprig was then stamped and the 3 die cut leaves were then glued down in position.

Earthen Plant Pots for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing the 2023 – 2025 In Colors. I have chosen to use the Earthen Textures stamp set to make my card.

 

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the earthen pots card, you will need:

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Copper Clay card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Fresh As A Daisy dsp – 3¼” by ⅝”
Scrap Basic White, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay & Pebbled Path

 

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the strip of Fresh As A Daisy dsp to the smaller Basic White panel. I used a Blending Brush to lightly apply Boho Blue ink to the same white panel before adding it to the Boho Blue card base using the same liquid glue.

Onto scrap Basic White card, I stamped the large pot in Moody Mauve ink, the smaller pot in Boho Blue ink and the spray of grasses in Wild Wheat ink. These were all die cut using the Earthen Textures Dies.

I die cut the pot handles from scrap Boho Blue card, the palm leaves from scrap Copper Clay card and the spiky grasses from both scrap Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path card.

The large Moody Mauve pot was added to the card front with liquid glue and the spray of grasses and one of the spiky grasses were tucked into the top. I added the handles to the Boho Blue pot and mounted it onto the card front on Dimensionals. The Copper Clay palm leaf and the remaining spiky grasses were tucked in behind.

A trio of pots of blooming cacti and made for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop using the Cactus Cuties stamp set

Cactus Cuties card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge and I have made a sweet card using the Cactus Cuties stamp set.

 

I added Basic White to the colours we were given:

 

To recreate the cactus cuties card, you will need:

Blushing Bride card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Blushing Bride card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾”
Garden Green card – 4⅛” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

 

I ran the panel of Blushing Bride card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. I wrapped a length of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the layer before adding it to the Blushing Bride card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the trio of pots in Blushing Bride and 1st & 2nd generation Bumblebee ink and fussy cut them out using Scissors.

The cacti plants were stamped in 1st, 2nd & 3rd generation Garden Green ink and fussy cut out with Scissors.

I stamped the flowers in Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink ink and after cutting them out added them to the panel. The decorated panel was then added to the Garden Green layer with liquid glue and then to the card front on Dimensionals.
