Loveliest Tree card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects using a bundle from the new annual catalogue. I have chosen the Loveliest Tree stamp set to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the loveliest tree card, you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Mossy Meadow card – 4⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic Beige card – 4½” by 3¾”

I used a stamp positioner to stamp the tree as this allowed me to stamp in multiple colours, multiple times.

The grass at the base of the tree was then coloured, using a Sponge Dauber, with Granny Apple Green ink.

The sentiment, from the Hearts & Hugs stamp set, was stamped on scrap Basic Beige card using Granny Apple Green ink. I trimmed it down with Scissors and added a slightly larger piece of Mossy Meadow card to the back. The sentiment was then tucked under the raised panel.
