Cocktails Anyone? – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we had been working on. The card I am sharing was made for a lovely friend who is very partial to a cocktail!

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the cocktails anyone card using the following supplies:

Lemon Lime Twist card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic Black – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Basic White – 3¼” by ⅜”

I used the new Stamp Positioner to stamp the 3 tall glasses on the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The smaller squat glasses were then stamped in between, slightly overlapping.

Starting with the glass on the left I used the following Blends Pens to colour the cocktails. First glass – Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly. Second glass – Melon Mambo and Strawberry Slush. Third glass – Calypso Coral, Pretty in Pink and Flirty Flamingo. Fourth glass – Summer Splash and Pool Party and for the final glass – Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist.

I leafy sprig was added to each glass with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. A length of Black Baker’s Twine was then wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Basic Black panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Lemon Lime Twist card front.

The sentiment, from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set was stamped in memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the strip of Basic White card. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Fantastic new stamp positioning tool by Stampin' Up!

The Stamparatus is coming……..

The Stamparatus – Stampin’ Up!’s new stamp positioning tool is coming soon and will be available to pre-order from 09.00pm on 16 November – 30 November – while stocks last and will be shipped out around the 1st February 2018. I am beyond excited about this and will definitely be reserving my Stamparatus as soon as I can. Click on this link to see how it works -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3teCr7Xo4G8&feature=youtu.be

Here’s why I want one;

  • It’s can be used with both red rubber and Photopolymer stamps
  • There is a foam mat to use with Photopolymer stamps
  • It has 2 open sides so you can stamp on larger paper and cardstock
  • It has integral rulers and grid lines for quick and easy measuring. Please note that the UK version will be metric only
  • It has 2 reversible plates making a total of 4 surfaces to work with. This means endless possibilities with 2, 3 or even 4 step stamping.
  • Both plates can simply be unhinged and moved down making it much easier to stamp a line of the same image or a repeating patter.
  • 2 bar magnets included to hold the paper in place and there is an area underneath the Stamparatus to store the magnets
