Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are showcasing the rubber band technique. I have used the Pop-up Petals stamp set and dies with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder to make a congratulations card for my lovely team mate who has just got a new job.
Colours used to make this card are:
I created the pop-up vase card using the following supplies:
Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Cloud Cover – 5¼” by 3½”
Strawberry Slush – 4⅜” by 2⅝”
Basic White – 4¼” by 2½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White
Using the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder I embossed the panel of Cloud Cover, wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the embossed layer and glued it to the Pretty Peacock card front.

I wrapped a few elastic bands around a large E block, inked the bands up with Cloud Cover ink and stamped it twice onto the 4¼” by 2½” panel of Basic White card to give a sunburst effect.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the vase with Pretty Peacock ink and die cut it out using the Pop-up Petals Dies.

The single flower was then stamped on scrap white card with the same Pretty Peacock ink and coloured in the image with Strawberry Slush and Lost Lagoon Blends Pens. I die cut the image out.

The vase and flower were added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Banner Sayings stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White with Pretty Peacock ink and punched it out using the Three Banner Punch before adding it to the card front.

A trio of Moody Palette Glossy Dots finished the card.
Please hop on to see what my fellow crafters have created using the rubber band technique. Next up is the lovely Teri West
