Kite Delight card

Here is a sweet card made using the Kite Delight stamp set with some of the gorgeous Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Papers.

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the Rain Boots card, you will need:

Misty Moonlight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Simply Marbleous dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Sunshine & Rainbows dsp – 5½” by 1”
Basic White card – 4” by 2”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Garden Green & Basic White

 

I glued the large panel of dsp to the large Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The piece was then added to the Misty Moonlight card front using the same glue.

The strip of Simply Marbleous dsp was added to the card front with the same liquid glue.

I die cut the tag from the small piece of Basic White card using the Tailor-Made Tags Dies. The sentiment from the Kite Delight Stamp set was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink at the bottom of the tag.

The kite was stamped on scrap Basic White card using Magenta Madness ink and was fussy cut using Scissors. The kite string was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on the die cut tag. I used Blends Markers to colour in the bows on the string and the stripes on the kite.

The decorated tag was the added to the card front on Dimensionals. I added a trio of Artistry Blooms Sequins to complete the card.

The Crafty Challenge Blog Hop features a card made using the Let's Set Sail stamp set and Sailboat Builder Punch

Let’s Set Sail for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge. The colours we have been given are:

 

To recreate the Let’s Set Sail card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2¼”
Scrap Basic White card

 

Using the Tailor-Made Tag Dies I cut a tag from the panel of Basic White card. I stamped the long ‘water’ image at the bottom of the tag in 2nd generation Coastal Cabana ink.

 

The ‘sky’ was added with a Blending Brush and the clouds with a Sponge Dauber and a piece of torn copy paper and Coastal Cabana ink. I added birds to the top of the tag using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I stamped the parts of the sailboat in Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather ink and punched them out with the Sailboat Builder Punch. This gave me pieces for 3 boats. The boat was added on Mini Dimensionals.

The ‘water’ image was stamped at the bottom of the Thick Basic White card front in 3rd and 4th generation Coastal Cabana ink. The birds were stamped again at the top of the card front in the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I added some Pool Party Sheer Ribbon to the top of the tag and a bow made from White Baker’s Twine. The tag was added to the card front on Dimensionals and I added a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels to finish the card.

The sentiment, from the Awesome Otters stamp set was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto a scrap of Basic White paper and fussy cut out. I added it tucked under the tag.

Rain Boots

The card I am sharing today was inspired by a by a YouTube video by fellow demonstrator Ange MacKay –and features rain boots.

Colours used in this project:

 

To recreate the Rain Boots card, you will need:

Cinnamon Cider card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Very Vanilla card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner
Bloom Where You’re Planted dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Bloom Where You’re Planted dsp – 5½” by 1”
Very Vanilla card – 4” by 2”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Garden Green & Very Vanilla

 

I glued the large panel of dsp to the large Very Vanilla panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The piece was then added to the Cinnamon Cider card front using the same glue.

I die cut the tag from the small piece of Very Vanilla card using the Tailor-Made Tags Dies. The sentiment from the All For Baby Stamp set was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink at the bottom of the tag.

The rain boots – we call them Wellington Boots or Wellies in the UK – were stamped on scrap Very Vanilla card using Real Red ink. They were die cut using the Rain Boots Dies. The plant pot was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on the same scrap card and die cut using the same dies. The boots and plant pot were added with glue to the tag.

Using the Perfect Plants Dies, I cut 2 sets of leaves from the scrap Garden Green card and added them with glue to the top of the pot.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping INKSpirations Blog Hop where we our theme is FONTS-amental. I love a good font and I especially love combining fonts which is so trendy right now.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the feels like home card, you will need:

Party Patterns dsp – 5⅝” by 3⅞”

The larger panel of Party Patterns Designer Series Paper (dsp) was glued to the Misty Moonlight card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I selected the sentiments I thought would work together and ended up choosing from the following stamp sets – One Happy Family, Hey Birthday Chick, Garden Wishes, Elegantly Said & Season’s Blessings. I wanted a mixture of plain and quirky fonts.

Using the same die, I cut another tag from the smaller piece of Party Patterns dsp and glued the two tags together, offset, using the same liquid glue.

A small hole re-enforcer was die cut using the same set of dies and added to the tag with the liquid glue. The Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon was the pushed through the hole and secured. The tag was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
