In the Country for the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

I have been playing with product from the  Jan/Feb 2022 Sale-a-Bration Brochure and  have chosen to share a card made using the pretty In the Country stamp set which is one of the sale-a-bration offerings.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the in the country card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic Gray card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Sun Prints dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Balmy Blue card – 4⅝” by 3⅛”
Fluid 100 card – 4½” by 3”
Very Vanilla – 5½” by 3¾”
Fluid 100 – ¼” strip

I glued the panel of dsp to the Basic Gray layer, wrapped a length of Variegated Ribbon around the panel, secured it on the back with Sellotape and glued the panel down to the Balmy Blue card front.

I used Balmy Blue ink to colour in the sky and to outline the image. After allowing the panel to dry I adhered it to the panel of Balmy Blue and mounted it on the card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a strip of Fluid 100 card and added it to the card front. A trio of Classic Matte Dots completed the card.

I love it and hope you do too.
