A card using the torn paper technique made using the Lovely Arrangements stamp set and the Thoughtful Journey dsp from Stampin' Up!

Torn Paper Effect Card – Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing torn paper techniques. The version of the torn paper technique I am sharing was very popular two or three years ago, but I never got around to trying it……. now is my chance. I have used the Thoughtful Journey designer series paper (dsp) to make my card.

Colours found in this card are:

To recreate the torn paper effect card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Misty Moonlight Two Tone card – 5½” by 3¾”
Thoughtful Journey dsp – 5¼” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 2 ¼” by ½”

The piece of Thoughtful Journey dsp was adhered to the front of the Thick Basic White card front.

I placed the panel of Misty Moonlight Two Tone card (lighter side uppermost) on top and worked out which part of the dsp I wanted to show and marked the card with a pencil.

To recreate the thoughtful thinking of you card, you will need:
