Three pretty floral cards made for April 2025 classes using the gorgeous Thankful Garden stamp set, dies and masks from Stampin' Up!

Thankful Garden Class Projects

Today I am sharing the cards designed for my April classes using the gorgeous Thankful Garden stamp set, Dies and Masks.

The colours used to make these projects are:

Diagonal Open Front card

Soft Sea Foam card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Mark at 2¼” along the top of the card, cut from the mark to the lower right corner
Blueberry Bushel – 4⅞” by 3¼”
Basic White – 4 ¾” by 3⅛”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

This card was inspired by Tina Bickford, the Tatted Stamper

The off cut from the card front was embossed before adhering it along the bottom of the card front. We then stamped the large hydrangea onto the side and top of the card front in Soft Sea Foam ink to add texture.

The large hydrangea was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the same panel. We then added colour to the flower using the first 3 masks and Blueberry Bushel ink and a Blending Brush.

The colour was added to the first two layers very lightly and the colour was added to the most detailed layer, with a heavier hand to add depth. The inked panel was then glued to the Blueberry Bushel panel and then to the card front.

The coloured flower was then die cut using the Thankful Garden Dies. We also die cut some of the leaves from the same die set from scrap Old Olive card. The die cut flower was added to the card front on Dimensionals and the leaves tucked in behind.

The sentiment was stamped in Berry Burst ink onto scrap Basic White card, trimmed down and added to the card front.

Four Panel card

Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”

Basic White – 3” by 2½”

The two large flower images were stamped onto the 5” by 3½” panel of Basic White card, one flower in each corner, the hydrangea in Blueberry Bushel and the double flower in Berry Burst ink. We filled in any gaps using the small leafy spray using Old Olive ink. The panel was then cut on the long side into 4 pieces 1¼” wide.
