Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are combining old with new product. I have used the new Garden Gatherings stamp set and dies with the old Banner Sayings stamp set and Three Banner Punch to make a pretty thank you card.
I created the vase of flowers card using the following supplies:
Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Lovely Blossoms dsp – 5¼” by 3½” Old Olive – 3⅝” by 2” Basic White – 3½” by 1⅞” Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and Lovely Blossoms dsp
The panel of Lovely Blossoms dsp was glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card and then to the Old Olive card front.

Today I am sharing a sweet thank you card made using the Just Because stamp set. There are so many pretty images in this set, perfect for the beginner crafter.
Making the Just Because thank you card
You will need Rich Razzelberry card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Whisper White cardstock 5⅜” by 3⅝” – for the inside Mint Macaron cardstock 3½” by 3½” Whisper White cardstock 3¼” by 3¼” Whisper White cardstock ⅜” strip for sentiment Mint Macaron cardstock 5” by ⅜” DSP – I used the Share What You Love pack 4⅛” by 4” cut on the diagonal 5⅞” by⅜”
I began by using my trimmer to cut a ¼” strip off the card front. I then chose the dsp for the front of the card and for the strip along the cut card front edge and cut these to size.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A sweet thank you card made using the Just Because stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I adhered the diagonally cut piece of dsp to the thin Mint Macaron strip with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then added the piece to the Rich Razzelberry card front using the same adhesive.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A sweet thank you card made using the Just Because stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I stamped the sweet vase of leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller Whisper White panel and die cut it out using my Big Shot and the Stitched Shapes dies. I also die cut a slightly larger scalloped circle using the Layering Circle dies and the piece of Mint Macaron cardstock. I glued the 2 layers together with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. They were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A sweet thank you card made using the Just Because stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
The vase and leaves were coloured in using the Rich Razzelberry Blends combo pack and the Mint Macaron Blends combo pack.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A sweet thank you card made using the Just Because stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
The sentiment was stamped in Mint Macaron ink and then cut down to size using my scissors before adding it with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I still felt the card needed a little something extra so stamped the leaves in the upper left corner.
www.crafty-rootes.com – A sweet thank you card made using the Just Because stamp set by Stampin’ Up!
I used the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to add the inside Whisper White panel and used an off cut of the dsp to decorate the envelope. To finish I added a trio of Faceted Dots to the front of the card.
I hope you like it.
