Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a sketch to inspire us. I have used the gorgeous Violet Dream designer series paper (dsp) which will be available from my online shop at the beginning of July.

Colours used when making this card are:

 

I created the violet dreams card using the following supplies:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Violet Dreams dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Peaceful Pine – 3⅜” by 3”
Violet Dreams dsp – 3¼” by 2⅞”
Violet Dreams dsp- 3” by 3”
Basic White – 3” by 1”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

The largest panel of Violet Dreams dsp was glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” piece of Basic White card and then to the Fresh Freesia card front.

 

The 3¼” by 2⅞” piece of Violet Dreams dsp was then glued to the Peaceful Pine layer. This piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Using the Stylish Shapes dies I I cut a stitched circle from the square of Violet Dreams dsp and added it to the card front overlapping the raised rectangle.

 

I die cut a banner from the small piece of Basic White cared using the same set of dies. The sentiment was stamped on the banner with Peaceful Pine ink and glued it to the card front.

 

A trio of iridescent faceted gems finished the card.
