I made this card a while ago for a colour challenge Blog Hop and completely forgot to upload the post to my blog……..duh! When I saw the colours of the challenge, my immediate thought was ‘masculine’ and I have made my card using the Trusty Tools stamp set and dies.
Colours used to make this card are:
To recreate the tools card, you will need:
Mossy Meadow card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Smoky Slate card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 3” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Smoky Slate, Blueberry Bushel, Mossy Meadow & Pumpkin Pie card
Using the paintbrush image, I stamped with Mossy Meadow ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Mossy Meadow card front.

I punched a hexagon label from the smallest piece of Basic White card using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. The punched label was placed onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card and lightly drew around it with a pencil. This helps to position the images I planned to stamp next.

The tool images were stamped around the label with Smoky Slate ink. I added colour with the infill stamps using Pumpkin Pie, Blueberry Bushel, Mossy Meadow and Smoky Slate ink.
Using a Light Smoky Slate Blends Pen I added a little colour to the metal part of the tools. The decorated layer was glued to the Smoky slate panel and then I added it to the Mossy Meadow card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Coneflower stamp set was stamped onto the punched label with Blueberry Bushel ink before it was added to the card front.

From the scrap Smoky Slate, Blueberry Bushel, Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Pie card I die cut the small nuts and bolts and scattered them across the card front. A trio of Smoky Slate Pearls finished the card.
