Fitting Florets used for the Crafty Sketch Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a sketch. I have used the pretty new Fitting Florets collection of products to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the pretty florets card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Fitting Florets dsp – 5⅞” by 3½”
Sweet Sorbet card – 5⅞” by ⅛”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Scrap Basic White card

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Fitting Florets dsp to the Thick Basic White card base. I added the strips of Sweet Sorbet card.

I used the Layering Circle Dies to die cut a circle from the square of Basic White card. The sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set was stamped onto the die cut circle in Evening Evergreen ink.

The small cluster of blossoms was stamped onto scrap Basic White card in Evening Evergreen ink. I coloured the image using Sweet Sorbet, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Blends pens. The image was then die cut using the Framed Florets Dies.

The floral spray was then added to the die cut circle using the same liquid Adhesive. The circle was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
