Seasonal Tags Card

I am sharing a Christmas card today made using the Seasonal Tags and Festive Friends stamp sets along with the Branching Out Dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the seasonal tags card, you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Shaded Spruce card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic Beige card – 5” by 3¼”
Shaded Spruce card – 4¼” by 3”
Basic White card – 3¾” by 2½”
Shaded Spruce card – 1½” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

I lined up the ‘Merry’ and ‘Christmas’ sentiments from the Seasonal Tags stamp set on the same block and stamped them across the Basic Beige panel, at a slant, using Basic Beige ink to create a background. The panel was then glued to the larger Shaded Spruce panel.

The length of Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon was then wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Basic Beige card front.

Using the Branching Out Dies I die cut a label from the smaller panel of Basic White card and a slightly larger label from the Shaded Spruce panel.

I randomly stamped the pine spray on the white die cut label using Early Espresso ink. The branches and twigs were coloured with the darker of the Medium Deep Blends Pens. The pine needles were then coloured with the darker of the Shaded Spruce Blends Pen. The decorated label was then glued to the Shaded Spruce label before it was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Festive Friends stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Shaded Spruce card. I covered it with Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool before adding it to the card front.

A ribbon bow and a trio of Loose Gold Sequins finished the card.
