Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge to work with. I have used the Love For You stamp set which will be retiring at the end of April.
Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner Garden Green card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner Flirty Flaming card – 2¾” by 2¾” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner – for the inside
I began by die cutting a circle from the square of Flirty Flamingo card using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I placed the die cut circle onto the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card, slightly overhanging the right edge. I drew around it with a pencil.

The flowers and leaves from the Love For You stamp set were then stamped, overlapping the pencil circle. The detail of the largest flower was stamped with Berry Burst ink and the solid image adde in Calypso Coral ink.

The smaller flower was stamped with Calypso Coral for the detail and stamped off Crushed Curry for the background. The leaves were stamped with Garden Green ink, the detail in full strength and the background in stamped of ink. The pencil circle was then rubbed out.

I glued the decorated panel to the Garden Green layer and wrapped a length of Garden Green Ribbon around the layer before adhering the whole piece to the Flirty Flamingo card front.

The sentiment, from the Textured Floral stamp set, was stamped onto the die cut Flirty Flaming circle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. A small piece was trimmed off the right side of the circle and the sentiment was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

I have been making Christmas cards today for the Christmas Stampathon and out theme this month is ‘Birds & Branches’. I have created a robin perched on a branch card using the Perched in a Tree stamp set.
To recreate the robin on a branch card, you will need:
Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Soft Suede card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Fitting Florets dsp – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card – 4” by 3” Basic White strip – ⅜” wide Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Soft Suede
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I added the dsp to the Soft Suede panel and wrapped a piece of Red Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then glued to the Balmy Blue card front using the same liquid glue.

Using the Framed Florets Dies, I die cut an oval from the smaller panel of Basic White card. I stamped the bird on the die cut oval, saving the frame for another project.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Pale Papaya, Gray Granite and Crumb Cake.

From the Aspen Dies I cut a branch from the scrap Soft Suede card and glued it to the oval, beneath the bird. The oval was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set was stamped in Soft Suede onto the strip of Basic White card. I flagged the end and trimmed it down before adding it to the card front with liquid glue.

A trio of Red Rhinestones completed the card. As per the Christmas Stampathon rules I made 4 of these cards. I hope you like them.
