Hello and welcome to the Christmas Stampathon where our theme is ‘Boxes’. I have made a box to contain four co-ordinating Christmas cards using the retired Traditions of Christmas designer series paper which I will gift to a friend. The box was inspired by Meg Loven of Loven stamps.
Colours used in making this box and the co-ordinating cards
I created the Christmas box using the following supplies:
Real Red card base – 8¾” by 8” scored on the long-side at 1”, 5¾” and 6¾” and on the short side at 1” at each end
Real Red card base – 8” by 5” scored on the long-side at 1” at each end and on one short side at 1”
Traditions of Christmas dsp – 5½” by 4”
Traditions of Christmas dsp – 5½” by 1⅞”
I cut the tabs on both the Real Red card bases as shown in the photos and adhered the tabs down.

The smaller piece was then glued to the smaller piece to the larger piece to form the front of the box.

The dsp panels were added to decorate the box and a piece of Secret Sea Bordered Open Weave Ribbon around the top and tied in a bow.

I will add a tag when I am ready to gift the box.
I created the four traditions of Christmas cards using:
Card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored on the long-side at 4⅛” x 4 – I used Real Red & Old Olive
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½” x 4
Traditions of Christmas dsp – 5¼” by 1” x 4
Traditions of Christmas dsp – 2½” by 2⅜” x 8
Basic White – 4¼” by 2¼” x 4
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside x 4
Scrap Old Olive and Secret Sea
I adhered one of the long strips of dsp to each of the 5¼” by 3½” panels of Basic White card.

Two of the 2½” by 2⅜” pieces of dsp were then glued in position to the right of the glued down strip.

From the 4¼” by 2¼” strips of Basic White card I die cut labels using the Stylish Shapes dies.

From scrap Secret Sea card, with Adhesive Sheet on the back I die cut the word NOEL using the Festive Cheer dies. The letters were then stuck to the die cut labels.
