Box of Eggs for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been working on recently. I am sharing a sweet card featuring a box of eggs ready for Easter.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the card, you will need:

Flirty Flamingo – 3¾” by 3⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White – 3⅝” by 3” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

I stamped the sweet little Easter eggs from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set in Pool Party ink around the front of the Pool Party card base and set it aside to dry.

The’ box’ image from the same stamp set was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto scrap Basic White card and trimmed out using Scissors.

The eggs were then stamped on scrap Basic White card in So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Pool Party ink. They were die cut out using the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine and the Wreath Builder Dies.

I placed the box onto the smaller panel of Basic White using Dimensionals and tucked the eggs in, securing them with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The decorated panel was then added to the Flirty Flamingo panel using the liquid glue. The whole piece was added to the Pool Party card base with the same glue.

The sentiment, from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White in Soft Suede ink and cut out using Scissors.

I added a sweet bow made from the Snail Mail Twine and a scattering of Woven Thread Sequins.
