Calm & Quiet card for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing colouring techniques. I have used the lovely Calm & Quiet stamp set to make a water-coloured card.

The Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the calm & quiet card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅛” by 3⅝”
Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper – 5” by 3½”
Pecan Pie card – 2⅛” by ⅜”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Using StaZon Jet Black ink I stamped the large lakeside image onto Fluid 100 Watercolor card.

I took an Aquapainter and coloured the image in. I used Pool Party for the water, Pecan Pie for the jetty and Boho Blue for the chair.

The coloured panel was added to the Pecan Pie panel using Multipurpose Liquid glue. The panel was added to the Pool Party card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Earthen Textures stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the scrap of Pecan Pie card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool before adding it to the card front.
