Holy Family Card

I made my card today using the pretty Rejoice stamp set, the Lovely Blossoms dsp and a selection of Blends Alcohol Pens.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the Holy Family card using the following supplies:

Cloud Cover card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored on the long-side at 4⅛”
Lovely Blossoms dsp – 5¾” by 4”
Early Espresso – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White- 3⅜” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

The panel of Lovely Blossoms designer series paper (dsp) was glued to the front of the Cloud Cover card front.

The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink in the lower left-hand corner of the card front.

I stamped the holy family on the small panel of Basic White card using Early Espresso ink. The shelter was then added using the same Early Espresso ink. I added some ‘ground’ using Basic Beige ink.

Using Blends Pens I coloured in the image. Mary was coloured using the Light Darling Duckling for her hair, SU 900 from the Light Blends Combo for her skin, Light and Dark Hydrangea Hue for her outer robe and Light Barely Blush for her tunic and sleeves. Joseph was coloured with Ivory Blends for his skin, Light and Dark Crumb Cake for his robe and Light Barely Blush for his belt and sleeve edges.

Light Cloud Cover added definition to the sheep and Light Darling Duckling to the fire. The decorated panel was then glued to the piece of Early Espresso card which was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of adhesive-backed Metallic Gems finished the card.

Row of Christmas Trees card – Stamping With friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I have made a pretty Christmas card made using the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set and some pretty, pastel colours.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the row of Christmas trees card using the following supplies:

Hydrangea Hue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic White – 4⅛” by 3”
Silver Foil – 4⅛” by ⅜” x 2
Basic White – 2⅛” by ¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – one for the inside
Scrap Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Hydrangea Hue & Gray Granite

Using a Blending Brush I added Hydrangea Hue down the centre of the 4⅛” by 3” piece of Basic White card.

I added the strips of Silver Foil to the top and the bottom of the panel. I placed the panel onto the Hydrangea Hues card front to get an idea of positioning and stamped a row of stars along the top and bottom where they would be seen. The panel was then glued in position.

From scrap Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Hydrangea Hue and Gray Granite card I die cut several of the medium and small trees.

The trees were arranged on the inked panel and glued in position with either Liquid Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots or Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Rejoice stamp set was stamped on the ¼” strip of Basic White card with Hydrangea Hue ink and added it to the card front.

A die cut Silver Foil star and a trio of 2026 – 2028 In Color Dots finished the card.

Dreamy Snowflakes Card

I do love a snowflake stamp set and used the new Dreamy Snowflakes stamp set and some ink blending to make a pretty Christmas card.

I created the dreamy snowflakes card using the following supplies:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Secret Sea – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Secret Sea

I masked off a strip down the length of the smaller panel of Basic White card using Masking Paper and added Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight ink to the masked off area using Blending Brushes.

I cut apart the large three snowflake image using sharp scissors. The three pieces are easy to put back together in the future.

I inked the smaller snowflake of the trio using Secret Sea ink and randomly stamped overlapping the inked strip. I added the largest of the single snowflakes and filled in the gaps with the smallest single snowflake, all using the same ink. The stamped panel was glued to the Secret Sea panel and then to the Balmy Blue card front.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto scrap Secret Sea card, covered it with Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. The sentiment was punched out using the Three Banner Punch before it was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A double bow made from retired Flirty Flamingo Twine was added under the sentiment piece and a trio of Sunset Sparkle Sequins finished the card.

Winter Houses Card

Here is a clean and simple Christmas card made using the Welcome Noel stamp set combined with Festive Cheer and Balloon Festoon stamp sets.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the winter houses card using the following supplies:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Early Espresso – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – one for the inside

Using the group of stars from the Balloon Festoon stamp set I randomly stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Balmy Blue card front with 2^nd generation Balmy Blue ink.

I mounted the row of houses from the Welcome Home stamp set onto the Stamp Positioner, inked it up with Pecan Pie ink and stamped it onto the smaller piece of Basic White card. I inked it up again with the same ink and added some Early Espresso ink to the roofs with a Sponge Dauber and stamped over the original image.

The stamped panel was then moved up and to the left and repeated the inking and stamping as above.

The sentiment, from the Festive Cheer stamp set was stamped with Early Espresso ink.

Using a Blending Brush I added Balmy Blue ink to the top and above and below the rows of houses.

I inked one of the stars with Daffodil Delight ink and added it to the sky.

A trio of Basic Rhinestones finished the card.

Pastel Christmas Trees Card

I love a Christmas card made using non-traditional, pastel colours and have used the Holly Jolly Branches bundle to make this pretty card.

I created the pastel Christmas trees card using the following supplies:

Bubble Bath base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side – Rounded upper left corner
Gray Granite – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5” by 3¼” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 2⅛” by ¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Bubble Bath, Pool Party, Gray Granite & Silver Foil

A length of Bubble Bath ribbon was wrapped around the Gray Granite panel, secured on the back with Sellotape and the piece was then adhered to the Bubble Bath card front.

I stamped the ‘snowy’ image from the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set was stamped in 2^nd generation Pool Party in in the lower right corner of the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card. The stamped panel was then adhered to the card front.

From scrap Bubble Bath, Pool Party and Gray Granite card I die cut the three trees and added them to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Rejoice stamp set was then stamped on the ¼” strip of Basic White card. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A star, die cut from scrap Silver Foil was added to the top of the largest tree, and a trio of Basic Rhinestones finished the card.

Using Blending Brushes I added Pool Party ink across the centre of the 5⅛” by 3⅝” piece of Basic White card.

I added Lost Lagoon ink below the Pool Party and Fresh Freesia ink above the Pool Party ink.

The row of houses was stamped onto the ink blended area; I stamped again to bring the row of houses across the layer. I also stamped the row of houses again below. I inked up the top of the small tree and added it in two or three places.

The star from the Balloon Festoon stamp set was stamped with Secret Sea ink and the sentiment from the Rejoice stamp set was then added along the bottom using the same ink.

Rustic Nativity Card

This card is the result of my first play with the Rejoice stamp set. I was aiming for a rustic look and used the Country Woods dsp to provide the illusion of the stable.

I created the rustic nativity card using the following supplies:

Hydrangea Hue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – one for the inside
Early Espresso – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Country Woods dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Scrap Basic White

I stamped the Nativity scene in the centre of the Country Woods dsp using Secret Sea ink. The wooden stable was the added with Early Espresso ink.

I used Blends Pens to colour in part of the image. Mary’s robe was coloured with Light & Dark Balmy Blue, with a Light Pecan Pie band around the sleeve. Her hair was coloured with Golden Glow, Light & Dark and the skin with Light Petal Pink.

For Joseph I used Light & Dark Pecan Pie for the robe with Light & Dark Hydrangea Hue for the trim. Ivory for the headdress and Light Petal Pink for the skin.

Jesus was wrapped in a Dark Hydrangea Hue blanket, and skin was coloured with Light Petal Pink.

A piece of Linen Thread was wrapped around one of the Basic White layers before it was glued to the Hydrangea Hue card front. The stamped panel was then glued to the piece of Early Espresso card which was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from my stash was stamped on scrap Basic White card with Early Espresso ink and trimmed down, cut down and added to the card.

A Linen Thread bow and a trio of Antique Pearls were added to finish the card.

Holly Jolly Branches Christmas Card

This Christmas card was made using the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

Basic White

Pool Party

Peaceful Pine

I created the holly jolly branches card using the following supplies:

Peaceful Pine card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Pool Party – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 4½” by 2” x 2
Basic White – 4½” by 1”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

Using a Blending Brush I swirled Pool Party ink on the top two thirds of the smaller panel of Basic White card.

Taking each 2” wide strip of Basic White card I tore down the top edge and used the same Blending Brush to add Pool Party to the torn edge. The 1” wide strip was then glued to one of the 2” strips. This piece was added to the inked panel with Dimensionals along the bottom edge. The excess card was the trimmed off on each side. I added Liquid Adhesive to the remaining torn strip and tucked it under the raised piece.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped three trees from the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set with Peaceful Pine ink and die cut the trees using the co-ordinating dies. These were tucked under the torn ‘snowy’ layers.

The sentiment was stamped with Peaceful Pine ink onto the ‘sky’. I masked off part of the sentiment each time so that I could stack the words. The ‘snow’ was stamped in the ‘sky’ using second generation Pool Party ink.

Home Card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using something from the upcoming September – December 2026 catalogue. The Welcome Noel bundle was the first in my pre-order basket. We are about to move house, and I am planning on using it to create my change of address cards. This card is my first play.

I created the home card using the following supplies:

Cloud Cover card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Pecan Pie – 4⅝” by 2⅞”
Basic White – 4½” by 2¾”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Using the smaller tree from the Welcome Noel stamp set, I randomly stamped around the edges of the Cloud Cover card front using Cloud Cover ink.

The medium sized flower was stamped in Pecan Pie ink on the smaller panel of Basic White card. The same image was stamped on Masking Paper and fussy cut with sharp Scissors. I placed the mask over the stamped house.

With the mask in place, I stamped the large trees with Peaceful Pine ink, 1^st and 2^nd generation. The smaller trees were then added using the same ink before the mask was removed.

I used a Cloud Cover Blends Pen to ground the images. Using Lemon Lolly ink and a Blending Brush I added the illusion of light to the windows and Cloud Cover ink to the sky.

The sentiment, from the Elegant Leaves stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine ink. The stamped panel was then adhered to the Pecan Pie panel before it was mounted onto the Cloud Cover card front on Dimensionals.

Festive Christmas Card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop where we have a colour palette/picture to inspire us. I have taken the colours and used them with the Festive Cheer stamp set to make a clean and simple Christmas card.

I created the festive Christmas card using the following supplies:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Garden Green – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I began by stamping the sentiment with Garden Green ink in the lower left corner of the smaller panel of Basic White card.

The outline diamond shaped bauble was then stamped with Azure Afternoon and the infill added in 2^nd generation Azure Afternoon ink. The larger ornament was then stamped with Real Red ink, the outline in full strength and the infill in 2^nd generation. The third bauble was stamped with Garden Green in the same way.

I added the bauble hangers and hanging strings to each bulb with Smoky Slate ink and finished with a bow on the middle bauble.

A scattering of ‘snowflakes’ were stamped with 2^nd generation Lemon Lime ink around the baubles.

I rounded the upper right corner of the stamped panel, the Garden Green layer and the Azure Afternoon card base using a retired corner rounder, before adhering them together.
