Floral Bauble Card – Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are working with a colour challenge to create Christmas cards. I have used the new Bauble Blooms stamp set and dies to make my card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the floral bauble card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Secret Sea card – 5½” by 3¾”
Cloud Cover card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Cloud Cover & Secret Sea

Using the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder I embossed the left-hand side of the Cloud Cover panel and adhered it to the Secret Sea Panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

An adorable Sweet Santa Christmas card made using the Sweetest Star stamp set and Sweetest Star Punch from Stampin' Up!

Sweet Santa card

Another sweet Christmas card featuring the Santa from the Sweetest Star stamp set.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the sweet Santa card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Crumb Cake card – 5⅞” by 4⅛”
Reindeer Days dsp – 5½” by 1¼”
Mediterranean Blooms dsp – 4½” by 1”
Real Red card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2¾” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

I used the Snowflake Embossing Folder to emboss the 5⅞” by 4⅛” panel of Crumb Cake card and adhered it to the front of the Crumb Cake card front.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies I die cut a stitched square from the 2¾” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card.

The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink in the upper left corner of the die cut stitched square. I wanted the words stacked rather than inline so masked and stamped one word at a time. The white square was then glued to the Real Red square. The whole piece was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The following Blends Pens were used to colour in the image – Ivory, Real Red and Basic Black. The Santa was then added to the raised stitched square.

A trio of Opal Rounds finished the card.
