A beautiful garden themed card made using Stampin' Up! product

Grace’s Garden for the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me for the February Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop. If you have joined me from Laura Mackie I am sure you were inspired by her project. Our theme today is ‘Colouring’ and I have chosen to use the stunning Grace’s Garden stamp set.

To recreate the Grace’s Garden card you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded Upper Left corner
Flirty Flamingo – 5” by 3¼” – Rounded Upper Left corner
Whisper White – 4⅞” by 3⅛” – Rounded Upper Left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded Upper Left corner – for the inside
Scrap Whisper White

I began by stamping the gate onto the Whisper White panel using Crumb Cake ink. I used the same ink to stamp the hollyhocks and the other little flowers on either side of the gate.

Taking a length of Linen Thread I wrapped it round the panel and tied it in a bow.

I stamped the hollyhock image along the bottom of the Crumb Cake card base in Crumb Cake ink and added the stamped panel to the card base on Dimensionals.

First Frost stamp set used to make a pretty floral card

First Frost card inspired by my bathroom!

I was soaking in the bath the other day, as you do when I looked up and noticed how well the new box of tissues went with the colour of the cupboard doors and I thought I must try out that colour combo ……..we have to take our inspiration when it comes. Here is the card I came up with using the First Frost stamp set.

To recreate my bathroom inspired card you will need:

Merry Merlot card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Calypso Coral – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2– rounded upper left corner
Scrap Whisper White
