A sweet tea themed card using Stampin' Up! products

Embossed Tea Together

Today I am sharing a sweet card made using the Tea Together stamp set and co-ordinating Tea Time dies. I had also really wanted to try embossing the tea pot with the gorgeous Country Floral embossing folder.

Making the Embossed Tea Together card

I began by stamping the teapot in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cut it out using the Tea Time Dies. After cutting it out I embossed the teapot using the Country Floral embossing Folder. I love how it looks, so pretty.

I stamped the cup and saucer in Memento Tuxedo Black and die cut it using the same set of dies. I stamped the flower in the Memento Tuxedo Black onto the tea cup and coloured it in using the following combo Blends – Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral. I added the Mint Macaron to the saucer to pull the colours together.

I chose a piece of the Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala designer series paper (dsp) and cut it to 5⅝” by 2”. I added it to a panel of Whisper White measuring 5½” by 2⅛” using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  I added a ¼” strip of Mint Macaron to the top of the dsp panel with the same glue.

I stamped the flower in Grapefruit Grove ink onto the front of a Grapefruit Grove card base to add a little extra texture. The dsp panel was added to the bottom of the card front with the multipurpose glue.

The teapot was added to the card using Multipurpose Glue at the bottom and Dimensionals at the top and the saucer added with glue.

I stamped the flower on a panel of Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” and adhered it inside the card. The same flower was stamped on an envelope.

A pretty floral card made using the Lasting Lily Stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Lasting Lily

I have had my first play with the gorgeous new Lasting Lily stamp set. This is one of the Sale-a-Bration choices that you can get for free with a £90 order.

Making the card

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock measuring 5⅛” by 3⅜”. I inked up the large lily with the Grapefruit Grove ink and stamped it onto the panel. The smaller lily was stamped in the same way. Next I inked up the stems with Garden Green ink which I stamped off once before stamping it onto the Whisper White panel.

I wrapped a piece of Braided Linen Trim around the bottom of the panel and adhered it to the back with Sellotape. The stamped panel was then glued to a piece of Wood Textures dsp measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝”.

Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist used with the Butterfly Gala Stamp set for a pretty card

Berry Burst Butterflies

Today I am sharing a sweet card featuring butterflies which I made as one of my samples for January’s classes featuring the Butterfly Gala stamp set.

Making the card

I started by stamping a double butterfly randomly all over the front of a Berry Burst card base in Berry Burst ink. I stamped it again in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto some scrap Whisper White cardstock and punched them out using the Butterfly Duet punch. I used my Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist Markers to colour the butterflies in.

I stamped the sentiment on scrap Whisper White cardstock using Berry Burst ink and die cut a circle using my Big Shot and the Layering Circle Dies. I also die cut a Basic Black scalloped circle and a Lemon Lime Twist circle. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the stamped white layer to the Basic Black layer, then the Basic Black to the Lemon Lime Twist circle.

I added the butterflies to the topper with Mini Glue Dots and added some Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.
