Earthen Textures card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a photograph and/or colour challenge. I have chosen to make a nature themed card using the Earthen Textures stamp set and all six colours.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the earthen textures card, you will need:

Blackberry Bliss card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Gray Granite card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Mossy Meadow card

The tall pot was stamped in Starry Sky ink and the smaller pot in Blackberry Bliss ink. These were die cut using the Earthen Textures Dies.

From scrap Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Mossy Meadow I die cut a selection of pretty leaves.

I placed all the die cut pieces onto the smaller Basic White panel and moved them around until I was happy with the arrangement. I moved the pots to one side and stamped the ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set in Gray Granite ink.

The twiggy sprig was then stamped and the 3 die cut leaves were then glued down in position.

The pots were then added on Dimensionals.
