Fresh As A Daisy DSP card for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using designer series paper (dsp). I love all the pretty dsp we have in the new catalogue and I love ways to use up scrap bits and pieces. I have used the gorgeous Fresh as a Daisy dsp to make my card today.

Colours in today’s project are:

To recreate the fresh as a daisy card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Crushed Curry card – 4⅛” by 2⅛”
Fresh as a Daisy dsp – 4” by 2“

Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut the strip of dsp in half at 2” giving two 2” by 2” squares.

Again, using the trimmer, I cut each square in half on the diagonal.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the dsp pieces to the layer of Crushed Curry card. The pieces were laid flush to each end but leaving a small gap top, bottom and in the middle so that the Crushed Curry showed through.

A length of Garden Green Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape.

The sentiment, from the Artistically Inked stamp set was stamped in Pebbled Path ink and the dsp panel added below on Dimensionals.
