Hot Air Balloon Birthday card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where, this month we are working with a sketch as inspiration. I have used the lovely Hot Air Balloon stamp set and Dies to make my hard.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the trio of hot air balloons card, you will need:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Pebbled Path card – 2¾” by ¼”
Scrap Basic White card

Using one of the Basic Borders Dies, I cut the cloud edge from scrap Basic White card. I used the die cut edge with a Blending Brush to add Boho Blue ink to the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card.

I stamped the three balloons in combinations of Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Balmy Blue inks. The baskets were stamped in Pebbled Path ink. I die cut all the images using the Hot Air balloon Dies.

The sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set, which will be available in the new Annual Catalogue from the 2nd April 2025, was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Pebbled Path card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

A scattering of Tinsel Gems from the 3 pack finished the card.
