Ladybird, Ladybird – in a Jar

Looking at my last few posts I have noticed that I am definitely chanelling the clean and simple look and this card is another along the same lines.

I am using the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set to create the card today. I love that we have another set to use with the Every Day Jars Framelit Dies. After a bit of trial and error I decided it is easier to stamp the inside elements before stamping the jar ……….. a lot of trial and error!! I stamped the ‘grass’ and the ‘leafy stem’ in Wild Wasabi ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock before adding the adorable little ladybird in Real Red ink. I then stamped the jar using Archival Basic Gray ink and die cut it using the Every Day Jars Framelits and the Big Shot.

I stamped the cute gingham lid in the Real Red ink before die cutting it and attaching it to the top of the jar using Tombow Liquid Adhesive. I added the stamped jar to a panel of Whisper White cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some ground using Crumb Cake ink and a Blender Pen and couldn’t resist another couple of Ladybirds going to rescue their friend……

I added the whole piece to a layer of Real Red cardstock using Tombow Liquid Adhesive before adding to a Thick Whisper White card base.
