Nothing’s Better Than for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the 2-step stamping technique. I am sharing a card made for a new team member using the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the nothing’s better than card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5½” by 3¾”
Abigail Rose dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 4⅓” by 2¼”
Basic White card – 2⅜” by ½”

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the piece of Abigail Rose designer Series Paper to the Basic Black panel. This was then added to the Thick Basic White card front using the same glue.

The in-fill stamp was inked up in Daffodil Delight ink and Poppy Parade ink was added to the bottom with a Sponge Dauber. I repeated this using Parakeet Party ink and Gorgeous Grape for the second glass and Poppy Parade and Gorgeous Grape ink for the third glass.

The slices of fruit were stamped in either Daffodil Delight or Parakeet Party ink and the cocktails umbrellas in Smoky Slate ink.
