Ombre Grassy Grove for Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Ombre Blog Hop where I have used the gorgeous Grassy Grove stamp set to show off an ombre starry sky.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the ombre grassy grove card, you will need:

Tahitian Tide card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Starry Sky card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner

Using Blending Brushes, I added ink to the smaller Basic White panel. I started with Balmy Blue, moved onto Tahitian Tide, then Starry Sky and finally Night of Navy. Gorgeous.

The inked panel was then placed in the Stamparatus and I stamped the ground, trees and deer in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Stamparatus so that I could stamp each image multiple times to get the images really, really black.

I added some highlights to the deer with a Chalk Marker.

The stars from the Peaceful Deer stamp set, were stamped in Versamark ink, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set with my Heat Tool.

The stamped panel was added to the Starry Sky layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive then added to the Basic White panel.
