Paper Circles for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me for the Crafty Collaboration Share It Sunday Blog Hop, we are sharing a project we have been working on and I couldn’t resist one last play with the gorgeous Paper Blooms designer Series Paper (dsp) before Sale-A-Bration ends tonight. This time I have gone a bit rogue and teamed the paper with the Circle Celebration stamp set to make a sweet paper circles card.

Colours used in today’s project are:

To recreate the Paper Circles card, you will need:

Rococo Rose card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Night of Navy – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Paper Blooms dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White – 2½” by 1½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner

I mounted a number of the stamps from the Circle celebration stamp set onto acrylic blocks, inked them up and stamped them into the coloured circles on the piece of Paper Blooms dsp. I really liked the effect this gave.

To pull the design together I added the small floral image overlapping some of the circles.

Next, I ran the stamped panel of dsp through the Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine in the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder, Love the effect this gives, it really pulls the image together.

The embossed panel was glued to the Night of Navy layer using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  I wrapped some of the White Snail Mail Twine around the panel and tied a bow. The panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Today’s Tiles stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
