Pink Ice Cream Anyone?

Here is a sweet pink ice cream themed card made for our team challenge. The theme is ‘Summertime’ and what can be more summery than ice cream?

Colours used in this project are:

 To recreate the pink ice cream card, you will need:

Smoky Slate – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3½”
Hand-Penned dsp – 5¼” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside
Basic White – 4¼” by 2¼” – for the tag
Scrap basic white

The panel of Hand-Penned dsp was glued to the smaller panel of Basic White, then to the Smoky Slate card base.

I die cut the tag from the narrow piece of Basic White card using my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and the new Tailor Made Tags dies. The re-enforcer was cut from a scrap of Smoky Slate card. The tag was added to the card front.

I stamped the base layer of the cone in 2^nd generation Cinnamon Cider ink, added the waffle marks in full strength Cinnamon Cider ink and punched it out using the Ice Cream Builder Punch.

The scoops of ice cream were stamped in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd generation Polished Pink ink and added to the cone using a Mini Glue Dots at the base of each scoop.

The ice cream cone was added to the tag on Dimensionals. I added the drips in 1^st and 2^nd generation Polished Pink ink. I added a piece of the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon using Mini Glue Dots and topped this with a bow made from the Simply Elegant Trim.

The sentiment was stamped in Polished Pink. To complete the card I added a trio of Silver Metallic Pearls.
