Stylish Leaves for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using products from the second Sale-a-Bration offering which ends in a couple of days. I have used the lovely Stylish Sketches stamp set to make a pretty stylish leaves card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the stylish leaves card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Balmy Blue card – 4⅛” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Petal Pink card
Petal Pink card – 1” wide
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

I randomly stamped the leafy image all over the smaller panel of Basic White card in Early Espresso ink.

Using the following Blends Alcohol Pens I coloured in the images – Old Olive, Natural collection SU300, Pumpkin Pie and Petal Pink I used the light Balmy Blue Blends Pen and the Color Lifter to outline each image and ‘ground’ the pattern.

Using Tear ‘n Tape to adhere the Natural Finish Ribbon to the long strip of Petal Pink card and added it to the card front with liquid glue. The stamped panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Penguin Place stamp set in Early Espresso ink onto a scrap piece of Petal Pink card. I flagged the end and tucked it under the raised panel. A trio of Fine Sparkle Gems completed the card.

Such a pretty card, I hope you like it

Please continue to hop on as I am sure my stamping friends have lots of lovely projects to share with you today.

  1. Pink was such a great choice for this card! I love how you included the sentiment on a flag at the bottom; so cool! So many wonderful details!
