Sunny Splash for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where my friends and I are showcasing some of the gorgeous goodies from the new 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalogue. I have chosen to use the cute Sunny Splash stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the sunny splash card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Blackberry Bliss card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Design A Daydream dsp – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 3½” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner, for the inside
Scrap Basic White

The piece of the gorgeous dsp was glued, using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the Blackberry Bliss layer. I chose this particular pattern because it reminded me a little of waves.

I wrapped a length of Pool Party around the panel before adding the whole piece to the Pool Party card base.

The scalloped rectangle, die cut using the Scalloped Contour Dies,  was left over from another project and I simply cut a piece off the right side to fit my design. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in the corner using Blackberry Bliss ink,

Two of the sweet little swimsuits were stamped directly onto the cut down scalloped rectangle, one in Pool Party ink and the other in Daffodil Delight ink. The piece was then added over the ribbon to give just a little height.

I stamped the third swimsuit in Blackberry Bliss ink onto scrap Basic White card and fussy cut out using scissors. This was added on Dimensionals to the card front.

To finish the card, I added a bow made from the same sheer ribbon and a trio of Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems.
