Stampers Showcase – Everything is Rosy Double Z Fold card

Welcome to the May Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing Fun Fold cards. If you have hopped over from the lovely Wendy Lee, welcome.

My lovely Mum treated me to the Everything is Rosy Medley of products for my birthday and I decided to make a special Double Z Fold card for her birthday later this month.

To Recreate the Everything is Rosy Double Z Fold card you will need;

Thick Whisper White cardstock 11” by 5½” – scored and folded on the long side at 2¾” and 5½”
Everything is Rosy dsp 5¼” by 5¼”
Everything is Rosy dsp 5¼” by 2½” x2

Thick Whisper White cardstock 9¼” by 4¼” – scored and folded on the long side at 2¾” and 5½” – Rounded upper right and left corners
Night of Navy cardstock 4” by 3½” – Rounded upper right and left corners
Whisper White 3¾” by 3¼” – Rounded upper right and left corners
Night of Navy 4” by 2½” x 2 – Rounded upper right and left corners
Whisper White 3¾” by 3¼” – Rounded upper right and left corners
Whisper White 3¾” by 2¼” x 2 – Rounded upper right and left corners
Scrap Whisper White and Rose Gold Foil

I began by folding and burnishing the score lines on the larger Whisper White cardstock panel. I then added the 3 pieces of Everything is Rosy Designer Series Paper (dsp) using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. This piece was then set to the side.

I folded and burnished the score lines of the smaller Thick Whisper White panel and adhered the 3 panels of Night of Navy cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the flower in Melon Mambo ink onto both of the small Whisper White panels. I added the leaves in Night of Navy ink. The sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set was added to one of the panels in Melon Mambo ink. The stamped panels were then added to the folded panel.

I stamped a selection of flowers in Melon Mambo, 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation. The flower centres were stamped in Night of Navy ink, again in 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation ink. The Leaves were stamped in Night of Navy ink. All of the images were then die cut using the Everything is Rosy dies and my Big Shot. I also die cut some of the leaves from the gorgeous Rose Gold Foil.

I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto the remaining Whisper White panel in the Night of Navy ink. The flowers and leaves were then arranged on the Whisper White panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and Dimensionals. The lovely mirror rose gold gems were added to the flower centres. The completed panel was then added to the card front.

The 2 panels were then adhered together.  I made an envelope using some retired dsp and the Envelope Punch Board.

I really love this card, I hope my Mum likes it.

Please hop on to see what my lovely friend Mikaela Titheridge has to share with us this month.
