A pretty, soft, floral card made using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!

Layered Florals Embossed card

Oh my goodness, I am obsessed with the new Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder, it is so detailed and gorgeous. I have used it today to make a pretty floral birthday card. This card was inspired by a Youtube video made by Peggy Noe

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the layered floral card, you will need:

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Pebbled Path card – 2⅞” by ⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I embossed the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card  using the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder.

True Love for the Colour Combo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to this month’s Colour Combo Blog Hop where I have chosen to use the gorgeous True Love designer series paper (dsp) to make my card today – Our colours this month are:

To recreate this card, you will need:

Thick Basic White – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Pacific Point – 4” by ⅜”
True Love dsp

I began by fussy cutting one of the pairs of blooms from a sheet of the gorgeous True Love dsp. I love this black and white paper, it is sooo versatile, add a little colour and you have something stunning.

Using Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam Blends Markers I coloured in the flowers and leaves.

I added some speckles around the lower left corner of the Thick Basic White card base in the area where I planned to sit the flower, just to give a little texture to the background.

The sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Pacific Point card, covered with White embossing powder and heat set using my Heat Tool.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the embossed sentiment piece and stuck it to the back of the flower piece. The whole piece was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I added a trio of Basic Pearls, coloured using the dark Flirty Flamingo Blends Marker, to complete the card.

I hope you like it. Please hop over to see what Melinda Whittington from Australia has to share with us today.
