Potted Plants Card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are designing using a colour challenge. I have used the Help Me Grow stamp set and dies to make my card.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the sweet flowers card using the following supplies:

Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Balmy Blue – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Scrap – Balmy Blue, Timid Tiger, Cajun Craze & Old Olive

Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card before adhering it to the layer of Balmy Blue card. The whole piece was then glued to the Old Olive card base.

I die cut the plant pot from Cajun Craze card and added shadowing to the right-hand side with a Blending Brush and Secret Sea ink. I tucked the bottom of the pot into the saucer which had been die cut from scrap Secret Sea card.

From scrap Old Olive card I die cut both leafy sprigs and added Old Olive into the one of them with a Blending Brush. These were tucked into the top slit of the card front. The whole piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
