A pretty congratulations on your new baby card made using the Places in the Heart and Rays of Light stamp sets by Stampin' Up!

Places in the Heart, New Baby card

Some friends are celebrating the arrival of their first child, a beautiful baby girl and I have used the Places in the Heart stamp set to make a pretty congratulations card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the new baby card, you will need:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2, one for the inside
Flirty Flamingo card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Early Espresso card – 4¾” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 3”
Early Espresso card – 2½” by ½”

Using the Rays of Light background stamp, I stamped the image onto the panel of Flirty Flaming card. This was then glued to one of the 5½” by 3¾” Basic White panels and then to the Flirty Flamingo card base.

The women and baby were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. This image was die cut using the Deckled Rectangle dies. I used the same set of dies to cut a slightly larger deckled rectangle from the Early Espresso layer and adhered them together.
