Peaceful Rays Christmas card

I have been mixing old and new today to make a peaceful rays Christmas card using the Peaceful Deer stamp set and the Rays of Light stamp set along with the Evergreen Border Punch.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the peaceful rays card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Shaded Spruce card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White & Shaded Spruce

I inked up the Rays of Light stamp with Pool Party ink and stamped it onto one of the Basic White panels.

Using the Evergreen Border Punch, I punched out a row of trees from scrap Shaded Spruce. I added the punched trees to the stamped panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then adhered to the Shaded Spruce layer with liquid glue and then to the Crumb Cake card front using the same glue.

The sweet leaping deer was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Soft Suede ink and punched out using the Deer Builder Punch. The deer was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A Baker’s Twine bow and a scattering of Adhesive Backed Sequins completed the card.

I hope you like it.
