Birthday Cupcakes for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog hop where our theme is ‘Autumn/Winter Catalogue’. I have made a cute birthday cupcake card using the gorgeous Sweets & Treats stamp set. A friend has a cloche cake stand which I love so this stamp set really called to me.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the birthday cupcake card, you will need:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Mint Macaron – 4⅜” by 3” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White – 4 ¼” by 2⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Pattern Party dsp – 5⅞” by 1¼”
Silver Foil – 5⅞” by ¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White – ½” strip

Using Flirty Flamingo ink, I stamped a row of cupcakes along the bottom of the Flirty Flamingo card base.

The cupcake stand and cloche from the Sweets & Treats stamp set, were stamped in Smoky Slate ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White. The stand was then coloured in using Smoky Slate Blends Markers.

I stamped 2 cupcakes using Smoky Slate ink inside the cloche. I stamped 3 cupcakes on Post It Notes and cut them out with scissors. I used them to mask the 2 cakes I had stamped and stamped a cupcake between. The three cakes were then masked and 2 more cakes were added on top. The cupcakes were coloured using Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, So Saffron, Balmy Blue & Crumb Cake Blends Markers. I coloured the inside of the cloche with the light Pool Party Blends Marker. The stamped panel was added to the Mint Macaron panel wit liquid glue and the panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped on the Basic White strip in Smoky Slate ink and trimmed out and flagged using Scissors. I added a trio of Metallic Pearls to complete the card.
