Water-coloured Wash card for the Colour Combo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the following colours:

To these I added:

To recreate the water-coloured card, you will need:

Blushing Bride card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Polished Pink card – 5½ by 3¾”
Shimmery White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Shimmery White card – ½” strip
Very Vanilla card – 5½ by 3¾”

Using the larger Water Painter, I laid some water down onto the larger Shimmery White layer.

When the layer was quite saturated, I added Polished Pink ink to the lower third, then added Crushed Curry ink in the middle and finished with Blushing Bride ink. I laid the panel aside to dry.

I love a clean and simple card and my oceanfront card ticks all the boxes and the Oceanfront stamp set is so easy to create with.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the oceanfront card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Pool Party card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner

I stamped the large ‘sky’ image in Pool Party ink and added the ‘water’ image below in Balmy Blue ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink at the bottom of the panel and wrapped some Linen Thread around the stamped panel before adhering the panel to the Pool Party panel. The piece was mounted on the Crumb Cake card front with Dimensionals.
