Trio of Leaves Card

Here is a pretty trio of leaves card made using the Simply Leaves stamp set and the Country Woods designer series paper.

Colours used in this project are:

 

I created the self-closing box using the following supplies:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Lemon Lime Twist – 4⅝” by 2⅝”
Basic White – 4½” by 2½”
Country Woods dsp – 4⅛” by 2” – for the inside
Misty Moonlight – 3¼” by ½”

 

The piece of Country Woods designer series paper (dsp) was glued to the front of the Thick Basic White card front.

 

I stamped the large leaf with Lemon Lime Twist ink in the centre of the 4½” by 2½” piece of Basic White card.

 

The leaf was then stamped to the left with Lost Lagoon ink and to the right with Misty Moonlight ink.

 

The decorated panel was then glued to the Lemon Lime Twist panel before being added to the card front.

 

I embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I flagged the end and added the banner to the card front.

 

A trio of sequins from my stash finished the card.
