Hello Birdie card for the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing animal themed projects. I have used the Bird’s Eye View stamp set to make a pretty hello birdie card. I did go through the, are birds animals’ debate with myself but couldn’t help using this sweet birdie.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the hello birdie card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Azure Afternoon card – 5¼” by 3½”
Stargazing dsp – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Scrap Basic White card

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Stargazing dsp to the panel of Azure Afternoon card.

I wrapped a length of Azure Afternoon Sheer Ribbon around the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape, the panel was then glued to the Thick Basic White card base.

Using the Nested Essentials dies I cut a flagged banner and a rounded corner square.

The stack of books image was stamped in Pecan Pie ink and the birdie in Pebbled Path ink. Both these images are from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set.

The following Blends Alcohol Pens were used to colour in the image – Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Azure Afternoon, Gray Granite & Pebbled Path. The coloured panel was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Cottage Wreath stamp set was stamped on the banner in Azure Afternoon ink. The banner was then tucked under the main image.
