Today my husband and I celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary and I have made him an Aurora themed anniversary card as he loves adventure and the great outdoors. I used the new Light & Wonder Dies and the Lights of Aurora designer Series Paper.
Colours in this card are:
To recreate the aurora anniversary card, you will need:
Secret Sea card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Lights of Aurora dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Secret Sea card – 4” by 3¼”
Lost Lagoon card – 4” by 1¾”
The panel of Lights of Aurora dsp was adhered to one of the Basic White panels.

From the Secret Sea card, I die cut the small row of trees using the Light & Wonder Dies and glued the piece to the dsp panel. The excess was trimmed off.

Using the same set of dies I cut the ‘lake’ from the piece of Lost Lagoon card. I stamped all over this piece with 2nd generation Lost Lagoon ink to give the illusion of water. This panel was then adhered to the panel and the excess trimmed off.

The sentiment was stamped in Secret Sea ink in the lower right corner.

I added the whole piece to the Secret Sea card front.

Using watered down Whisper White ink from a refill bottle and a Wink of Stella brush I added some ‘snow’ to the tree line.
I really hope my husband likes the card.
